Love working with Children? • Only available to work a few hours a week? St John’s Anglican Kindergarten in Toorak is seeking an enthusiastic person to work as a Kindergarten Assistant to support the Co-ordinator run the Extended Hours Program. Key duties include supporting and assisting the Co-ordinator with the learning experiences of the children, attending to the physical, social and emotional needs of the children, assisting with the preparation, break down and cleaning up of the kindergarten. Your hours of work would be Monday and Friday only, 11.30am to 4pm, a total of 9 hours per week. Ideally you will have experience working with children in a similar capacity, have a Certificate III in Children’s Services and current Anaphylaxis and First Aid Certificates. The successful applicant must have a Working with Children Card and be able to produce Assessment Notice. The start date for the position is beginning of Term 1, 27 January 2010.
